Bloomsbury Football’s Disability Programme makes sure that access to football is inclusive for everyone. Our first inclusive football session kicked off in March 2021 and we now run one-weekly PAN-Disability football session, which creates a fun, safe, environment for young people of all abilities and needs.

Over the past 18 months Bloomsbury Football have also worked closely with Learn with ESS and their founder, Azeem Amir. Azeem is an England International Blind Footballer and aims to address stigmatised issues surrounding disabilities. Learn with ESS and Azeem have led on 5 workshops for our Academy, Foundation and Schools programmes as well as the Bloomsbury Football staff. They also supported on Bloomsbury Football’s Blind Football Festival in December 2021.

PAN – Disability Session

Every Wednesday, we run a PAN-Disability session at Harris Academy – with almost one coach per child attending, this session ensures that no child is denied access to football for any reason. Filter by ‘Disability’ in the ‘Programmes’ tab from the button below to sign up.

Blind Football

Last December, we ran London’s first ever Blind Football Festival! Led by Azeem, the event provided a very first football training session for some children. We are now well on our way to a regular B1 football session with accreditation from England Football, and have started a regular fortnightly B1 session.
