Bloomsbury X Para Football England Talent Day

The England Para Pathway provides a route for players who are deaf, partially sighted, blind, or have cerebral palsy to progress and develop within their respective Para Football streams.

On behalf of England Para Football, Bloomsbury Football is hosting an England Talent Day — the entry point on to the pathway. This Talent Day will focus on identifying talent, building technical and tactical skills, and directing players into the right environment for them to grow. Players can learn about the Para Pathway as well as be selected to participate in our monthly Talent Hubs. The subsequent Talent Hubs do not replace regular training but allow players to be regularly monitored and supported by specialist coaches within the England Para system.

The event will take place in the Indoor Sports Hall at Maria Fidelis School which is classified as a ‘Fully Accessible’ facility. The day will start with a short presentation for players and their guardians to learn more about the England Para Pathway and potential next steps. So please arrive punctually to be ready to start at 12 midday. Following this the players will then be split in groups according to age and, where appropriate, by para football stream for the session. On-pitch activities will start with warm-ups and foundation-building drills before breaking into small-sided games and matches. Throughout the session, the coaches will monitor the players and groups to ensure that play remains fun, safe and engaging for all players.

We welcome and encourage accompanying parents/guardians to stay for the entirety of the session.
