BLOOMSBURY FOOTBALL: BOARD OF TRUSTEES

11th Jul 2022

At Bloomsbury Football, community is everything.

We know that our strength comes from the people who support us, on and off the pitch. We are excited to announce that we have new members on our Board of Trustees. These experienced individuals from a range of industries will help to shape Bloomsbury’s strategy and support us to achieve our goals: changing the game for more young people in London.

I am so excited about the new additions to Bloomsbury Football’s Board of Trustees. These individuals are integral to helping Bloomsbury set our overall goals, and supporting team members to be the best that they can be. We are so lucky that our Trustees have a wealth of experience across a range of industries, ensuring that Bloomsbury Football has all the resources it needs to continue changing the game for young people in London

Charlie Hyman, co-Founder and CEO of Bloomsbury Football

Our team at Bloomsbury Football is made up of young people who are passionate about the life-changing power of the beautiful game. What we lack in industry experience we make up for with a drive to have the biggest impact that we can. This is what makes our Trustees so important. They use their expertise and experience in sports, advertising, consulting, marketing and finance to ensure that Bloomsbury is at peak performance.

Bloomsbury Football already engages over 5,000 young people per week across London, and we have no plans to slow down our growth.

By June 2023, we want to double our impact. Our Board of Trustees will be with us every step of the way as we move towards our goals.

Over the next seven weeks, we will be shining a spotlight on our trustees: our Chair, Charlie Cowen, Charlie Hyman, Mark von Herkomer, Daniel Austin, Neil Jenkins, Sam Bunis, Theepan Jothilingam and Sharon Bennett.

We hope that this series of posts will give you, our community, a better sense of the individuals that guide the Bloomsbury team.
