England’s Lionesses are looking to win again at this summer’s UEFA Women’s Euro 2025. The reality? Not every player travelling to Switzerland can lift the trophy. But, those players all have victories worth celebrating.
At Bloomsbury Football Foundation, we share that ethos and celebrate all types of wins. What’s the first step in creating the next generation of winners? Making sure that girls have access to football – because when girls are excluded, we all lose out.
It’s simple really. More girls playing football means more winning, for everyone.
It means more winners celebrating playing football for the first time. More winners celebrating the friendships they’ve built by getting on the pitch. More winners celebrating the accomplishment of the goals they’ve set for themselves.
That’s why Bloomsbury are committed to breaking down the barriers that stop girls from playing, this summer and beyond.
Over the Women’s Euro tournament, we’re sharing the wins of these six players and coaches to show that every barrier overcome is a victory, and that every victory is worth celebrating.
So, whoever you’re rooting for in Switzerland, join us as we rewrite the rules and celebrate every young girl’s win on their own terms. We’ll see you on the pitch! 💥
