ABOUT BLOOMSBURY
Bloomsbury Football Foundation is making the magic of football accessible to every young person.
Children with SEND often lack the opportunity to play sport regularly – meaning they miss out on the benefits like better mental and physical health, a community to belong to and transferable skills for a better shot at life.
Bloomsbury’s Disability Football sessions are breaking down barriers, and making the nation’s game more accessible to everyone.
Accessible, tailored formats of the game
Building community and skills, on-and-off the pitch
Helping young people win on their terms
Financial support for low-income households
Pan-Disability Football
Our Pan-Disability Football sessions welcome players with a wide range of impairments and health conditions to play together in an adapted format of the game.
The specialised coaches at the sessions champion a player-centred approach to football. This framework focuses on understanding each individual players’ strengths and needs; providing a safe environment for young people to play, build friendships, and be themselves.

Blind Football
Sessions for vision-impaired players, tailored to get players on the pitch and enjoy the formats of football designed for them.
These regular sessions are a safe, supportive environment for players to make friends, get active, and build confidence both on and off the pitch
With specialised coaches and equipment, these sessions are designed to meet players where they are – whether they’re looking for an opportunity to participate in sport casually, or progress to the elite level.

The support my daughter has been given is really inspirational. Bloomsbury plays a major part in her confidence building and developing her academic future - it's really good that she's able to access a sport that she can enjoy.
