U9-U12 GIRLS WILL GET ON THE PITCH & WEAR LALIGA TEAM KIT WITH THE LALIGA X BLOOMSBURY FOOTBALL GIRLS SUMMER SERIES
LaLiga is working with Bloomsbury Football to get girls on the pitch and kick off a big summer of football!
Following two successful tournaments that have seen over 100 Bloomsbury boys get on the pitch and represent 12 top LaLiga teams, now it’s the girls’ turn.
With the LaLiga x Bloomsbury Football Girls Summer Series, girls aged between 9-12 will get on the pitch at Acland Burghley School each Saturday between 10th June – 15th July 2023.
Between 9-10am every Saturday morning, players will be coached by the Bloomsbury Football team, learn new skills and be introduced to 6 top LaLiga teams: Espanyol, Real Sociedad, Alaves, Valencia, Eibar & Osasuna.
All girls attending these sessions will receive the kit of one LaLiga team that will be theirs to keep and wear proudly, on & off the pitch.
The LaLiga x Bloomsbury Football Girls Summer Series is FREE to all players.
The 6 sessions that make up this Summer Series are designed to show girls that their place is on the pitch & get warmed up for a summer of supporting the highest level of women’s football.
LaLiga supports Bloomsbury Football on their mission to use the power of football to change the game for young people in London.
This collaboration was created to connect Bloomsbury Football players to top-tier European football & show them that no dream is too big. That they too can play in LaLiga kit.
Saturday 15th July will mark the final week of this Summer Series and we will have a LaLiga x Bloomsbury Football Girls Football Festival to mark the occasion. This will be a morning packed full of surprises and celebration for women’s football and all players will compete in a mini tournament wearing their team’s kit.
In the run-up to the FIFA Women’s World Cup, LaLiga and Bloomsbury Football want girls in London to feel connected to football on a global level.
The LaLiga x Bloomsbury Football Summer Series is open to all- whether you play on a weekly basis or are new to the beautiful game.
