What to Expect

Bloomsbury’s weekly sessions give young players the space to develop their blind football skills in a fun and safe environment. The sessions will get players familiar with Blind Football; a format of the game which follows FIFA futsal rules with some key adaptations including playing with with IBSA-approved sound footballs and eyeshades.

Sessions typically start with a structured warm-up and movement-based activities, followed by targeted drills designed to develop key footballing skills. Led by the experienced coaches, players will also learn essential on-pitch communication techniques and spatial-awareness strategies, gradually building towards competitive Blind Football match play.

Please note that this session is open to all visually impaired players aged 7-16. Nevertheless, this session specialises in building confidence playing the blind-specific format of the game.

Our session is held at Acland Burghley School Sports Centre (Please use the entrance on Churchill Road). We look forward to welcoming you!
