After careful consideration, and five amazing seasons, Bloomsbury will not be continuing the delivery of its Futsal programmes beyond July 2026.

All current players have received communication regarding their existing subscriptions, as well plans for their team next season. For more information, read the FAQs below.

Senior Futsal FAQs

  • Why are the Senior Futsal Teams not continuing for next season?

    Recent unexpected developments in both the coaching and management teams significantly impacted the prospects of future futsal delivery at Bloomsbury.

    Bloomsbury has been our home during the past 5 seasons. We are grateful for the support they provided and being part of this great project and mission. However, upon careful consideration, we concluded that for the futsal programme to continue to thrive, it will be best run independently, in a specialist futsal-only environment.

  • What is happening to the Men's Senior Futsal Teams?

    For our existing Men’s Teams, we will be partnering with Braintree Futsal Club for the 2026/27 season.

    The intention is that these teams will sit at T1 and T2 (or T2 and T3, depending on team transitions and the league’s decision).

  • What is happening to the Senior Women's Futsal Teams?

    For our existing Senior Women’s Futsal Teams, from September, it will be moving to a new home: Rise Futsal.

    This is a new dedicated futsal club led by Kyle Wisnewski.

  • What happens to my current Futsal subscription with Bloomsbury?

    If you had an existing Bloomsbury subscription, this has now ended, and we won’t take any further payments. Bloomsbury will also be refunding your most recent payment.

  • What if I have another question?
