Futsal is a sport that requires the development of a different skillset to football. Taking place on a smaller pitch, futsal is all about pace, quick decision making and creativity. It’s perfect for players who want to develop their skills in a different environment or for those who are taking their first steps on the pitch. With our financial support model, Bloomsbury Futsal is accessible for everyone.
FUTSAL ACADEMY
The Bloomsbury Futsal Academy offers the perfect opportunity for players looking to level up on & off the pitch. With weekly training sessions with qualified coaches at venues across north London, players in the Academy develop new skills quickly, becoming happier, healthier & more confident individuals. Players who excel in the Academy have a chance to progress to the Men’s or Women’s first teams.
SENIOR TEAMS
Adult players on our Men’s and Women’s First teams play Futsal at the top level in the England & beyond. In the 2022 – 2023 season, Bloomsbury futsal first teams dominated English futsal across the top tier National Divisions of the FA National Futsal Series and the national Futsal League. Both the Men’s and Women’s First teams won their Tier One League Play-Off finals in the National Futsal League, getting the Men’s team a place in the UEFA Futsal Champions League 2023.
EVERYONE WELCOME
Bloomsbury Futsal, formerly ProFutsal London, joined the Bloomsbury Football Foundation in 2020 to make the game more accessible to every young person. The futsal programme shares the same mission as all Bloomsbury Football programmes: to use the power of sport to develop not just better players, but better people. All futsal programme sessions have financial assistance, where players and families pay what they can.

I love playing Futsal for Bloomsbury because I have fun with my teammates but also because I learn so much in every training session. I think I have really developed as a player since joining Bloomsbury. I have been lucky enough to train with the first team and play in a few friendlies with them. Bloomsbury Futsal has really helped our son to build his confidence on and off the pitch. His Futsal has gone to another level in a very short space of time thanks to the detailed guidance of the coaches. The kids are constantly challenged to develop their skills and the coaches make the sessions really enjoyable. There are also weekly matches that test the kid’s ability and knowledge of the game. What is Club Futsal?
Futsal is football’s indoor, fast-paced, 5-a-side cousin. Club Futsal is the name of the Bloomsbury Futsal Academy, where players can start their pathway to playing for the Senior Bloomsbury Futsal Men and Women’s teams.
These sessions are open to ages 7-18 and train multiple times a week.
